Danny left the dirt oval part way through the 2010 season to go race at Thunder Road...he'll be back full time this year and ready to take home some trophies. He is one of those guys that will help anyone...and people like that generally have good things happen for them in the long run. Perhaps we'll see some of that good karma returned this year!

Action from Doyle's heat race
In the most controversial finish of the season, Doyle and Kevin Harran get together just before the start/finish line
and ride each other into the infield while Bobby Bell sneaks by on the track. Harran was awarded 2nd, Bell 3rd and

Doyle had himself an incredible night - and picked up Double Points for his efforts in the Fast Fours Madness.

The damage doesn't seem so bad when you consider the huge increase Danny just got in his lead of the

On-track chaos with Bobby Bell seems to have led to some animosity that I hope won't carry over...
both guys are having great seasons and I would hate to see them throw that away!

Danny came off last week's disappointing results with a new engine and looked good in qualifying
Doyle tried to hold off eventual winner Travis Hull before being awarded a controversial 4th in the Feature.

Doyle left the heat race after just a couple laps with a blown transmission
Hornets Point Leader Eric Lang stepped up and handed Danny the keys to his ride. Though there's a
difference in horsepower, etc (alright, I admit I don't know the differences between the two 4-cylinder classes)
Doyle was able to take the track in the Feature and not lose additional points.
