Another gorgeous night for racing over on the 1/4 mile clay track that is Bear Ridge Speedway! This one also doubled as a Benefit Night for David's House and despite a little smaller crowd than at last week's holiday show, a generous contribution was raised for this worthy cause! Drivers fanned through the crowd, helmet in hand, collecting donations. It's things like this that make me really proud to be associated with such a great group of people!

14 year old Jordan Fornwalt followed up last week's 2nd place trophy with his first

career win in the Limited Late Models. He was followed across the line by Richie Simmons and

Tyler Stygles. Congrats Jordan!!

The Sportsman Coupes put on one of the best Feature Events that I have seen all year!

3 and even 4 wide racing all the way through the pack...THIS is what dirt track racing is all about!

In the end Gene Pierson Jr led Josh Harrington and Shane Race onto the podium.

The Sprint Cars of New England put on another great show....and Chris Donnelly picked up the win again.

Dan Douville survived a near roll-over (which brought out the only caution of the race) to battle back for an

incredible 2nd place finish. Rookie Jim Lowrey, Jr. grabbed 3rd.

The battle in the Hornets was intense...but in the end Mike Stender grabbed his second win of the year

while Eric Lang's 2nd place finish helped break a tie at the top of the points chase with Thomas Placey.

One of last week's roll-over victims, Don Reynolds, brought the same car back and drove it to a 3rd place finish!

Chris Donnelly led the way to the Checkered Flag in the DIRTcar Sanctioned Sportsman Modifieds for the

second week in a row (in two different cars). He was followed across by Kevin Chaffee and last year's Champion

Adam Pierson.

This was the Double Points Madness week for the Fast Fours, with a total of 42 laps to run

(based on getting lap sponsors who build the purse for the event). It was easy to score the results at the

top five cars finished in the same order in both segments. Bringing home trophies

were Danny Doyle, Kevin Harran and Travis Hull.

The Hornet Queens finished in the same order which they started: Julie Stender leading Melissa King and

Misty Bell onto the podium.
