Whitcomb, Alex
Alex is in the unique position of racing against, and with, his father David in nearly identical Ford Mustangs. David has been doing this a long time and his knowledge and experience has transferred to Alex for sure. Last year he sometimes pushed too hard, trying to collect that first win. I think he has gained a little patience and maturity heading into his Sophomore season in the Street Stocks. Look for him to collect some good finishes and improve week after week.

Running well at the front of the pack, Alex's Feature came to a sudden stop when spun by another car
and collected by everyone behind him.
Although he was able to collect himself enough to drive back to the pits, Alex damn sure took a hard hit!
He was credited with a 29th Place finish.

Alex took a ride off turns 3 & 4....it was kind of surreal to watch the trees bounce after his car disappeared.
He was fine....but it did relegate him to the Reserve Feature
Whitcomb could only muster an 8th place finish in the Reserve

After turning only the 34th quickest lap, Alex had to try to go through the 'B' Feature...he pulled back in the
pits before the race went green
He came back on Sunday to run segment two....but didn't have any better luck
