It was great to get all of the weekly divisions back on the track for a night of intense competition! The Late Models have had the last couple weeks off from the high-banked quarter mile....but that was partly due to a special race over at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.....it was time to get back to the business of deciding the 2011 King Of The Road!

Well, they have gone back to the Reserve Feature being a trophy race and it now includes the

qualified Junkyard Warriors starting ahead of the non-qualified Street Stocks. 25 laps

that saw Jason Woodard collect his 7th Feature win ahead of Kevin Wheatley

and Brock Parrott

In the Street Stock Feature Paul Giacherio won his 2nd top spot trophy, while MC Ingram

and Alan Maynard completed the podium

Jason Allen won his first career Tiger Sportsman Feature, holding off Josh Demers and

Mike Ziter

The string of First Time Winners continued for the Late Models as Brooks Clark

finally made it to the promised land, leading Brett Wheeler and Phil Scott onto the podium.

Next week is Champions Night for the Late Models....by the end of the night the 2011 King Of The Road will be crowned! David Pembroke enters the night with a 38 point lead over John Donahue with Phil Scott and Nick Sweet tied just 45 points behind Pembroke. (These point standings are unofficial). One bad wreck in qualifying could very well decide the Champion between any of these four drivers....I can't wait to see how it unfolds!
