Martin, Jeffrey

Jeffrey looks like he may be a force to reckon with amongst the Street Stocks in 2011 in his Escort GT. He is just plain fast....and when he gets the handling down so all of the power is being used to propel him where he wants to go, he'll be moving forward and collecting trophies!

EVENT 1 - MERCHANTS BANK 150

MAY 1, 2011

Martin didn't compete in the weekly events at Thunder Road last season, although he did

take part in the M&M Enduro

Jeffrey was able to avoid this wreck and keep moving froward in the Reserve Feature

Straight up the middle

Martin grabbed the Checkers in the Reserve Feature but managed only a 25th Place finish in the Feature....

look for improvement as the season goes on!

finally ending Jen Getty's good run in the heat race

EVENT 7 - PEPSI HOLIDAY EVENT

JULY 4, 2011

I bet Jeffrey would be the first to tell you that the last few weeks have been pretty tough for him -

Feature Event win!!

STREET STOCK SPECIAL

AUGUST 7, 2011

Good battle with Amanda Habel on the way to a 6th place finish

EVENT 14 - TRIPLE 50'S SPECIAL EVENT

AUGUST 11, 2011

I know what you're thinking - and no I don't have this photo of George Sanders' Junkyard Warrior on

the wrong page as I put it here on Jeffrey Martin's Street Stock page. It seems that last week the Top Ten

in points, which Martin was, had their engines torn down in Tech. Somehow, the valves on Martin's engine

got bent.....and left him without a car. That just sucks! So his good friend George offered his Escort...and

they all went to work to convert it. Wasn't competitive but it makes for a good story.

Martin battles with Paul Grant in the "Non Qualified Feature"

EVENT 15 - VERMONT ACE HARDWARE STORES

AUGUST 18, 2011

Martin had his own car this week....but it didn't help. Here he is leaving the track early during his

heat race

No luck in the Reserve Feature either

Another example of feast or famine....Martin seems to do great or terrible...never any in-between.

Here's a qualifying win

Followed by mechanical issues and a 25th place finish in the Feature

EVENT 17 - BOND AUTO LABOR DAY CLASSIC

SEPTEMBER 3-4, 2011

Martin was another driver who struggled....he qualified 27th fastest and couldn't

make it out of the 'B' Feature
