iPhone Photography

yup, really

I know what you are thinking: an iPhone is just a fancy phone. Cellphone cameras are terrible....you are better off with a blank paper and a pencil so you can just draw what you are trying to capture. Believe me, I had a lot of these same opinions - until I recently bought a used iPhone 4 and started playing with it a little!

Let me start by saying that the beauty of the iPhone (and newer iPod Touch) camera is based on the applications (or "apps" as they are more commonly referred) that are available to allow users to customize their own experience however they see fit. From macro to black & white, creative edits to creation of postcards the options are almost limitless. The built-in camera and photo viewing apps will likely work pretty well for most folks who simply want to use their iPhone to take snapshots (kind of like a Polaroid Instant Camera in the old days). But if you want to really take photos, the world is yours (and accessible through the App Store!)
