I won't pretend to know the story about Shirley & Mickey
or their importance to the Bear Ridge Speedway racing family.
I only know that multiple time Track Champion Josh Harrington
is their grandson.....and multiple time Track Champion
Thomas Placey is married to their granddaughter. Suffice it to say,
the Bruleigh family has been a part of Bear Ridge since their has been
a Bear Ridge. This night was dedicated to them.

Josh Harrington, grandson of the Bruleigh's and defending Track Champion
in the Sportsman Coupes, awards the first Feature Event Winner's Trophy to
Thomas Placey, whose wife is the granddaughter of the Bruleigh's. Josh drove
an incredible race, only to finish 4th with a destroyed car.
