I had a bit of a close call during the Modifieds Feature when one

of the cars slid into the infield along the front stretch where I was shooting from

with 10 laps to go. Because of his angle, I couldn't judge how close he was...

I turned and ran, tripping over the short Victory Lane wall and landing on

one of my cameras (and my elbow). This shot is blurry as I was

still a bit rattled. My apologies.

PHOTO OF THE WEEK

There were a couple violent roll-overs in the Dirt Midgets...kind of caught

at least parts of both. But there is something about this shot of Jack Cook,

turned sideways due to a flat left rear, looking back to see what is

headed his way that I really like.
