New England Dirt Track Championships
The season finale brought with it some of the most exciting racing action of the season....on an absolutely gorgeous night in Bradford! There are a lot of things that I really like about this track...one is that the drivers are racing for great trophies....these are not the plastic, dollar store trinkets that some other tracks award. No, the trophies on this night were awesome....with solid granite bases and plenty of heft.
No worry about these trophies getting blown over by the wind....
A closer look.....these things were great!
On to the night's results....Travis Hull picked up his third consecutive Feature win
(and sixth overall), leading Danny Doyle and Bobby Bell across the line
The Mods Feature (and $1,000 bonus) was taken by Adam Pierson while Vince Quenneville was second
and Chris Donnelly was third.
Jordan Fornwalt won his third Feature of the year in the Limited Late Models,
this time leading Ryan Christian and Tyler Stygles onto the podium
Terry Williams turned his start on the pole into his third Feature win of the season in the Coupes.
Jason Horniak finished second and Gene Pierson, Jr. was third.
In the Hornets, Eric Lang finished off a great season with his 11th Feature win. Thomas Placey
finished second and Charlie Lakin was third.
This also marked the final event for the Sprint Cars of New England for the season - Rookie Tyler Rich
held off Chris Donnelly and Dan Douville to grab the biggest trophy.
