JTB Towing - Interstate Battery

If you are a racing fan (and really....would you be visiting this page if you weren't?) than the season that is beginning to wind down in the hills of Bradford at the little 1/4 mile clay track called Bear Ridge Speedway is one of the best that you have ever seen! The only weekly division points leader with more than a 17 point cushion going into this one was Adam Pierson in the Bond Auto Sportsman Modifieds (who was up by 123 over second place driver Dan Eastman).

The A Notch Above Limited Late Models top four (Tyler Stygles, Jeremy Hodge, Troy Comeau and Robert Tucker) are separated by a mere 13 points. The Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes leader Josh Harrington only leads 2010 Champion Gene Pierson, Jr. by 14 points. In the Welgarz Property Service Fast Fours Kevin Harran leads Danny Doyle by a mere 14 points. The KDD NAPA Ridge Runner Hornets have seen another incredible battle as Eric Lang hangs onto the lead over 2010 Champion Thomas Placey by 17. So, if you come to the track on a Saturday night and leave saying that you didn't like it....well, you just don't like racing and competition at the highest level!

When's the last time that you saw antique tractors making laps at your local track?!?

In the Limited Late Models, Richie Simmons picked up his first win in the division by holding off

last week's first-time winner Ray Johnson and Robert Tucker

Another first time winner as Justin Comes put his Sportsman Modified into Victory Lane

ahead of Jason Gray and Adam Pierson

No surprise that the Hornets Madness event would come down to a tie-breaker as

Thomas Placey and Eric Lang each won a segment and finished second in the other.

Placey was awarded the win due to his better finish in the second segment, as per the rules.

Mike Stender finished third in both segments....and third overall.

Another first time winner as Bradford's own Jeremy Stygles held off veterans Bob Shepherd

and Josh Harrington

The battle at the top of the Fast Fours points chase will certainly swing again as Danny Doyle

grabbed another win...this time followed by Travis Hull and Stephen Bell. All three drivers have

been on great rolls as of late and will continue to pick up trophies as the season goes on!

The Hornet Queens saw Misty Bell pick up her first win as she held off Melissa King and

Amanda Habel who was making her first appearance on dirt this season.
