Even with parts of Central Vermont still under water due to recent flash flooding, the show went on under overcast skies and the threat of more rain. And what a great night for the fans who made their way to the track! Everyone loves Kids Rides (sometimes I think the drivers like it even more than their passengers).

Kids Rides are always a hit at Bear Ridge! Here, Bryan King picks up some hitchhikers

Perhaps Bryan King wishes every week was Kids Rides as he finally broke out of a big slump to grab

the Checkers among the Bond Auto DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds.

Danny Eastman (center) and Jim Morgan rounded out the Top Three.

Shane Race took the top spot among the Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes. Bob Shepherd (center)

and Steve Ellsworth filled the podium.

Derek O'Hearn made his return to Bear Ridge a good one, surviving the roughest

A Notch Above Limited Late Model Feature ahead of Tyler Stygles (center) and Troy Comeau.

The Welgarz Property Service Fast Fours Top Three is starting to feel familiar. Kevin Harran landed on top again

this week, followed by Danny Doyle (in red) and rookie Bobby Bell.

Eric Lang made it 3 for 3 as he led the way again in the KDD NAPA of Bradford Hornets.

Brent Warren and Thomas Placey grabbed more hardware.

The Hornet Queens made their first appearance of the season and offered one of the biggest

cheers of the night when Misty Bell rolled on the first lap and drove away. The race was won by 2010

Champion Melissa King (far right) followed by Dawn Woodward (center) and Bell (in red). They'll be back

in two weeks.

The USAC Dirt Midget Association put on a great show, with Joe Krawiek earning the win. Kevin Chaffee (center)

and Dana Shaw rounded out the Top Three.
