My name is Buzz Fisher and this is a journey through all of the different parts

The answer is simple...I'm too cheap to make up business cards
for all of the different things that I am involved in
and want to share with other people. So.....I just had to design one
(probably the one I gave you to get you here)
and then link to all those other places from here. Clever bastard, ain't I?

So....you probably knew that I was a photographer. I go to a ton of events
and activities around Central Vermont and you might have seen me
at one of those. I have served as Official Team Photographer
for the Vermont Ravens of the New England Football League since 2008
and hope to continue in that capacity. I also was elected to the Board Of
Directors in late 2010 and hope to bring a little fresh energy to the organization.

One of the things that I am most proud of is the New & Learning Group
that I started on Flickr in January of 2007.
I had belonged to a couple of other groups and found that a lot of the folks
on them were pretty much idiots. When someone asked a question
that they thought foolish, they took it upon themselves to insult
the person and scare them away. I saw this as just crazy and,
as someone not really prone to watching things like that happen
without a response of some sort, I started the New & Learning group.
My original goal was to have 50 people who all had the same idea as me
when it comes to photography....
no one is beyond learning new things and no one is so new
that they don't have something to teach.
It didn't take long to see that there are MANY, MANY more folks
that agree with me. We passed 5,000 members within our first two years...
we have members from all 50 states and over 100 countries around the world.
That's pretty cool. If you have an interest in photography,
feel free to stop in and check it out.
